I will also be posting information on what we talked about in YoFam and what scriptures we looked at so that parents will know. There will even be times that I post what has been on my mind.
September 14th, 2020 I am so excited that we have officially began YoFam for this school year!!! We had a great turn out last week for our first lesson and even on Friday for our movie night!!!
This week we will have our normal Wednesday activities (besides dinner) starting with H.O.W. after school and our lesson at 6:45-8pm. Then on Saturday we will be having a fishing and Hotdog day!!! Details for this event have been emailed out.
Please know it is always okay to bring a friend!!!
September 1st, 2020 I am so excited for us to begin a new chapter in YoFam tomorrow night!!! YoFam stands for Youth Family and we try to live this out daily. It is important that our youth see each other as family, because during hard times family is who we tend to rely on. Our Family continues to grow, as we add in our new 6th graders.
Yes Covid 19 has given us many challenges since the beginning of 2020, but we have pushed through it and will continue to meet and grow spiritually every week wile practicing our social distancing. On Sundays during Sunday School we will be digging deep into scripture. Our lessons on Wednesdays will be more life application, as in how do we apply these scriptures to our everyday lives.
I have planned several events for the fall in which we can maintain our social distancing, and will continue to search for even more events.
I hope you and the youth are ready for an awesome year, because I know the sponsors and I are!!!
